In addition to our role as an independent membership organisation, we are also the recognised representative for the local business community – nationally and regionally as well as locally.
The way in which a business community is supported through local and regional economic development initiatives can influence its health and prosperity.
We believe the most effective way to deliver this support is by working closely with our strategic partners and associates to engage with various government agencies.
Kingston Chamber of Commerce is part of the Integrated Business Support group (IBuS) consisting of RBK, the Chamber of Commerce, Kingstonfirst, Kingston University and Kingston College and Kingston Voluntary Action. The group’s aims are to work together to ensure that local businesses, whether commercial or non-profit making, have access to comprehensive and integrated business support services across the borough. Details of current services can be found at www.kingston.gov.uk/directory/27/business_support_services
