Cocks Crescent – a new heart for New Malden?

The Cocks Crescent Development area first phase consultation launched this Saturday 11th July with a stall at the Malden Fortnight Craft Fair.

The New Malden Future Group, made up of local resident associations, the Community of New Malden Businesses and a local architect are working collaboratively with the Council to come up with a vision of what would be a suitable development for the Cocks Crescent area.

Working together in this way we can ensure that any development in the area meets local needs, adds community value and increases the vibrancy of the High Street.

The views of the wider New Malden community are really important so this first phase consultation enables people to share their views on what uses they feel would bring most benefit to New Malden, and also find out if they agree with the suggested ‘development aims’ proposed by the New Malden Future Group for the Cocks Crescent area.

There is a display and questionnaire – both will be available online on the RBK website: www.kingston.gov.uk/consultations

The static display will also move around New Malden over the next four weeks with paper copies of the questionnaire available to pick up. Residents will be able to visit the display in the following locations:

Saturday 11 July – Malden Fortnight Craft Fair (9am to 4pm)

13 – 19 July – Malden Centre cafe (open daily 9am to 5pm)
