London Growth Hub – SME views needed

Kingston Council and the Kingston Chamber of Commerce have been working with the Mayor of London’s London Enterprise Panel (LEP) to develop the LEP’s Growth Hub.

The LEP is looking to get feedback from London’s SMEs on how its new business support portal (‘The London Growth Hub’) can help support London’s businesses.

As part of this process the LEP is asking SMEs to complete a short survey about the key challenges they face in growing, developing or running their business. To have your say, complete the survey now at  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FTZ8PSD.

Flexible Workspace in the Borough

It is recognised that there is an unsatisfied demand for flexible workspace across centres of business in the borough. There is currently only one provider of workspace and the demand for space has exceeded their capacity.

As a result, Kingston Council is working with land developers and other partners to develop a programme of workspace, initially in Kingston Town Centre and then rippling out into new spaces in other district centres. Some funding has already been successfully attracted for the purpose of developing space and more funding is currently being sought. It is hoped that the first workspace will open in the first quarter of 2016.
