Don’t miss our upcoming Business Breakfast event, taking place at TownSq Kingston. This event is the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with other like-minded individuals from various industries and business sizes, while learning from our expert guest speakers and enjoying a delicious breakfast.

Guest Speaker:

We are delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Erich McElroy: Stand-up Comedian, Leadership & Development Engagement trainer, Comedy Teacher, Coach & Writer, Podcaster, and Broadcaster.

Eric will guide us on how to enhance our communication, and build confidence with humour, and foster creativity and connection within teams to achieve industry outcomes.

Originally from Seattle, Erich moved to the UK in 2000 and proudly became a British citizen in 2007. It was then he knew it was time to hit the stage. Blending sharp wit with cultural insight, Erich offers a hilarious outsider’s take on life in the UK through the (somewhat) sober eyes of an American. His unique perspective and quick-fire humour have entertained audiences up and down the country for years.

He guides leaders to enhance their communication, and build confidence with humour, and foster creativity and connection within teams to achieve industry outcomes.

Venue:

The event will take place at the vibrant coworking space TownSq in the heart of Kingston. Their modern facility offers a range of flexible workspace options, including hot desks, dedicated desks, and private offices — all equipped with high-speed internet and ergonomic furniture. TownSq Kingston is also an active member of the Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

Agenda: 

  • 8.30am: Registration opens, accompanied by a selection of coffee, tea and sweet treats.
  • The first part of the morning is dedicated to networking, where you can mingle and engage in conversations with new and familiar contacts.
  • 8.50am: Breakfast Buffet being served
  • 9.10am: Welcome speech, followed by the guest talk.
  • 9.30am : Open discussion, allowing for inquiries from the audience to be addressed.
  • Following the presentations, there will be further networking time. Our team will be on-site to help you with introductions.

Attendee List: The day before a booked networking event, we will share an attendee list with you. In line with GDPR, the list includes names, company names and email addresses only. Details are included for attendees who have consented to share their information. The full list with email addresses is then shared in a post-event email.

Name badges: Those are issued on arrival to help you start conversations with fellow attendees.

Your details: We use the above form connected to Eventbrite to manage bookings, so please ensure your details are accurate, as attendee information is pulled directly from the list.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to attend, please cancel within 48 hours in order to receive a refund (unless stated otherwise). As venue and catering numbers must be confirmed and paid in advance, we are unable to offer refunds for late cancellations.

Most of our events are open to both members and non-members, though a few are member-exclusive. Non-member tickets are always available where applicable, so you can experience Chamber offerings first-hand.

  1. Our events bring together professionals from across the borough and beyond (mainly South West London and Surrey), from freelancers to senior leaders. If you’re new to networking or the local area, our Chamber team is always on hand to make introductions and help you feel at ease.
  2. To help you make the most of the experience, we share a preview attendee list the day before the event, and a full contact list (including names, company names and email addresses of those who have opted in) after the event, in line with GDPR. Most events include name badges to make networking easier on the day, and the connections don’t stop when the event ends - following up is simple.
  3. Bookings are managed via Eventbrite, where event registration typically closes at 12:00pm on the working day before the event or once capacity is reached. Attendee details are pulled directly from Eventbrite, so please ensure your profile information is accurate and free from errors.

Places are limited, and events are usually oversubscribed. Please give two working days’ notice via email for a refund or you’ll be required to pay for your place in full.

If you have never been a member of the Chamber you can book and join as a guest at two of our events (just one Chamber Breakfast). After this, you will need to join the Chamber to enjoy the benefits of membership. If you'd like to join the Chamber you can find out more on our website.

Yes. We have a number of active members who are based outside the borough.

Membership is based on a business, but any individual can attend from that organisation. In fact, we encourage different individuals to attend so they can be familiar with the Chamber activities.
